This position is not an Information Technology (IT), Software Development, Systems Administration, Cybersecurity, Data Science, or Technical Support role. Candidates should have experience in container operations, depot management, transportation, logistics, equipment maintenance, terminal operations, or related operational environments.

What You'll Do:
This role will be responsible for leading and overseeing all Technical Services operations across the North America & South America ("NASA") depot network, including capacity management, depot cycle turn-time optimization, repair performance, and overall service delivery. This role will drive operational efficiency, ensure consistent service standards across the region, and partner closely with internal and external stakeholders to support business objectives and customer requirements.
Key Responsibilities will include:
  • Lead, supervise, and continuously optimize the performance of the NASA depot network, with responsibility for:
  • Cost management and operational efficiency
  • Capacity planning and utilization
  • Technical and operational performance standards, along quality assurance
  • Daily depot turn-time management, including repair estimate reviews, approvals, repair progress tracking, and release prioritization
  • Depot contract negotiation, administration, and vendor performance management
  • Provide leadership, guidance, and oversight to the NASA Technical Services Managers to ensure consistent execution of operational objectives and service standards across the region.
  • Prepare and present monthly depot performance reporting and operational updates to regional and corporate senior management.
  • Collaborate closely with the Director, Operations & Customer Support NASA and Triton Container Sales ("TCS") Regional Director to address strategic depot performance initiatives, operational challenges, and customer service priorities.
  • Oversee Technical Services support and operational performance for secondary products, with particular focus on chassis, tank containers, gensets, and roll trailers.
  • Manage and coordinate depot audits, inventory verification processes, and compliance reviews to ensure operational accuracy and adherence to company standards.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships throughout the NASA depot network through regular site visits and direct engagement with depot partners. Approximately 25% of travel is required.
  • Partner with Global Operations teams and Data Analysts to support the development, enhancement, and implementation of data-driven depot performance reporting and analytics tools.
  • Liaise with Product Management teams (TCS, Dry, Specials, Reefer, and Tanks) regarding operational performance, repair standards, and cost management initiatives.
  • Support the continued development and implementation of industry standards (such as API integrations or IICL-ECS) between Triton and its depot network to improve operational efficiency and data visibility.
  • Take on additional responsibilities and projects as needed to support business objectives.

What We're Looking For:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and relevant industry experience
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience within the container shipping, leasing, terminal or related transportation/logistics industry (Candidates with IT, software development, cybersecurity, systems administration, or unrelated technical backgrounds will not be considered).
  • Institute of International Container Lessors (IICL) certification or qualifications preferred, or willingness to obtain certification after assuming the role
  • Strong knowledge of container shipping and leasing operations, terminal or depot management, repair standards, and industry practices
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and strong overall technical aptitude, with the ability to work effectively with operational systems, reporting tools, and technology platforms
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively engage with internal and external stakeholders across multiple regions and functions
  • Fluency in English required; Spanish language proficiency strongly preferred
  • Proven leadership and people management skills, with the ability to motivate, develop, and lead high-performing teams
  • Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills, with a proactive, self-driven, and collaborative approach
  • Demonstrated problem-solving capabilities with a proactive mindset toward identifying and resolving operational challenges
  • High level of professionalism, integrity, and ethical judgment
  • Willingness and ability to travel regularly throughout the NASA depot network, including occasional international travel, sometimes on short notice
  • Must be at a commutable distance (within 50 miles) to the Houston, TX office.
