What You Will Do:

  • Provide leadership within Guidehouse's Ginnie Mae housing finance portfolio, ensuring delivery quality, operational discipline, and client satisfaction.

  • Serve as a trusted advisor to senior client leadership on housing finance policy, mortgage markets, servicing operations, capital markets, and risk management.

  • Lead complex advisory engagements spanning policy analysis, financial modeling, operational assessment, and stakeholder coordination.

  • Translate statutory, regulatory, and supervisory requirements into practical, compliant operating and analytical solutions.

  • Drive business development and growth, including identifying client needs, shaping follow-on work, leading capture strategy, and supporting proposal development.

  • Partner with capture, proposal, and solution leaders to develop win strategies and ensure compliant, compelling proposal submissions.

  • Produce and review executive-ready deliverables, briefings, and analyses for senior leadership, boards, and oversight bodies.

  • Lead, mentor, and scale multidisciplinary consulting teams, establishing strong quality assurance, audit-ready documentation, and on-time delivery.

What You Will Need:

  • 10+ years of consulting experience advising financial services institutions and/or federal housing agencies.

  • Experience supporting federal policy and program implementation, translating regulatory requirements into compliant solutions.

  • Proven ability to lead high-visibility advisory engagements with strong delivery governance and quality control.

  • Ability to communicate complex analysis to executive audiences, including senior leadership, boards, and oversight bodies.

  • Demonstrated success in business development, including capture strategy and proposal development.

  • Strong people leadership skills, including mentoring and managing multidisciplinary teams.

  • Reputation for professional judgment, credibility, and discretion in highly regulated and scrutinized environments.

What Would Be Nice to Have:

  • Expertise in housing finance and mortgage markets, including government-backed lending programs and mortgage servicing operations; and/or strong knowledge of capital markets and mortgage-backed securities (MBS), including investor reporting, portfolio performance, credit risk transfer, and macroeconomic impacts.

  • Experience supporting Ginnie Mae; or comparable experience with Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac, FHA/HUD, mortgage servicers, or housing finance regulators.

  • Experience supporting large federal programs, including contract compliance, financial management, and account operations.

  • Experience presenting to regulators, inspectors general, boards, or other oversight bodies.
