The pay range is $135,000.00 - $243,000.00

As a Director, Supply Chain, you will lead a team that works cross-functionally to plan, develop and iteratively enhance future and current state capabilities in service of Target's Upstream business strategy. You must be comfortable navigating strategic planning and delivery of multiple complex, parallel efforts in an ambiguous, fast-paced, matrixed environment. This position will report to the Sr Director -Supply Chain.

Responsibilities include:

  • Establish and lead core upstream process design teams, partnering across Operations, Engineering, Supply Chain, Technology, and other functions to drive end-to-end process design and implementation.
  • Oversee the end-to-end portfolio of upstream process initiatives, effectively managing resources, dependencies, timelines, and risks across multiple bodies of work
  • Drive cross-functional collaboration to design, pilot, and scale operational processes that improve network performance, standardization, and execution excellence
  • Support your team in delivering excellence in problem-solving and program/project management activities
  • Manage sequenced crawl/walk/run roadmaps across the portfolio, and design routines to drive their progress
  • Ensure a common understanding of goals, objectives, and success criteria across stakeholders
  • Partner with Product, Tech, and Field teams to develop strategies and business value cases for enhancements or fundamental changes to our Upstream processes and design
  • Work with Sr. Leaders (Sr. Directors, VP, SVP) to align strategies and gain support and prioritization of supporting initiatives

  • 4-year college degree or equivalent experience
  • 5+ years of applicable experience
  • Strong collaboration skills to partner with stakeholders across the enterprise; is able to quickly build consensus, influence and negotiate at senior levels to deliver results
  • Strong communication and facilitation skills that can be tailored to different audiences and environments
  • Strong strategic, financial, and analytical skills; can easily translate data from an array of sources into insights and recommendations
  • Ability to frame problems and present in a variety of settings solutions
  • Ability to think in terms of the future state, challenge the status quo, and identify paths from current to future state
  • Demonstrated experience managing complex cross-functional projects or programs
  • Experience leading others
  • Highly flexible and comfortable within a matrixed leadership structure
  • Strong resiliency and drive

This position will operate as a Hybrid/Flex for Your Day work arrangement based on Target's needs. A Hybrid/Flex for Your Day work arrangement means the team member's core role will need to be performed both onsite at the Target HQ MN location the role is assigned to and virtually, depending upon what your role, team and tasks require for that day.
