STGi is seeking qualified candidates for this position in connection with an active Request for Proposals (RFP).ย ย  Hiring for this role is contingent upon STGi's selection as the successful awardee.ย ย 

JOB SUMMARY: ย 

Theย Regional Admissions Coordinator/Directorย oversees and drives the admissions strategy for multiple long-term care facilities within an assigned region. This roleย is responsible for maximizing occupancy, ensuring efficient and compliant admissions processes, building strong referral relationships, and leading admissions teams to deliver a seamless, compassionate experience for veterans and families.ย Travel is required and is extensive throughout assigned region.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:ย 

Admissions & Census Managementย 

  • Develop and execute regional admissions strategies to achieve andย maintainย targeted occupancy levelsย 

  • Monitor daily census, admissions, discharges, and waitlists across assigned facilitiesย 

  • Analyze trends and implement corrective actions to address census challengesย 

Leadership & Team Developmentย 

  • Lead, coach, and support Admissions Directors and Coordinators across the regionย 

  • Set performance expectations and conduct regular reviews and trainingย 

  • Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and resident-centered serviceย 

Referral & Business Developmentย 

  • Build andย maintainย strong relationships with hospitals, discharge planners, case managers, physicians, and community partnersย 

  • Represent facilities at referral meetings, community events, and healthcare networksย 

  • Collaborate with marketing and executive teams to strengthen regional visibilityย 

Operations & Complianceย 

  • Ensure admissions processesย comply withย federal, state, and payer regulationsย 

  • Overseeย accurateย clinical and financial pre-admission reviewsย 

  • Partner with clinical and billing teams to ensureย appropriate placementย and payer alignmentย 

Reporting & Strategyย 

  • Track and report key performance indicators (KPIs) such as conversion rates, length of stay, and payer mixย 

  • Provide regular census and admissions reports to executive leadershipย 

  • Identifyย opportunities for process improvement and operational efficiencyย
