Job description

Job Title: Assistant Drafter
EVAPCO Inc. is an Employee Owned manufacturing company with global resources and solutions for worldwide heat transfer applications headquartered in Taneytown, MD and has an immediate full-time opening for an Assistant Drafter. We are looking for a self-motivated and detail-oriented person to join our team!
Specific Responsibilities:
  • Must learn and utilize Solid Edge modeling software.
  • Makes detail drawings from 3D unit models created by Sr. Designers, Designers, and Sr. Drafters.
  • Revise drafts and models, directed by Sr. Designers, Designers, and Sr. Drafters
  • After training, this person must demonstrate the ability to review and check their own work.

Qualifications:
  • Must have SOLIDWORKS Certificate or Comparable Certificate from College or University.
  • Ability to work in a team environment.
  • Strong attention to detail required.
  • Must possess excellent communication and computer skills.
  • Ability to work on multiple assignments/projects with minimal supervision.
  • Must possess excellent organizational skills.
  • Must have the ability to meet required deadlines.
