Job description

Overview

Sunday River Retail is seeking enthusiastic and dependable sales associates for the upcoming fall and winter seasons for full-time and part-time positions. Sunday River's Soft Goods Sales Associates work directly with the resort's Director of Retail to sell through Sunday River Sports and/or Betty's Treats and Treasures. The ideal candidate will have prior sales experience and will work as part of the greater retail team to manage Sunday River Sports' inventory, ensuring that all merchandise is stocked, organized, displayed and signed for promotions and sale events accordingly.  This position is part of the greater Sunday River Retail team and may be asked to fill in at other store locations as needed.  

Must be available to work days, weekends, and holidays. Soft Good Sales Associates provide excellent customer service in all aspects of soft goods sales and service. Knowledge of winter sports and merchandise preferred, but willing to train desired candidate. 


Responsibilities
  • Provide customer service to all guests in retail shop 
  • Be the expert for all soft good products in store 
  • Sell products 
  • Stock floor merchandise 
  • Maintain merchandising displays as needed 
  • Other duties as assigned 

Qualifications
  • Previous sales experience preferred but not required 
  • Must be at least 16 years old 

Compensation 

  • Wage ranges from $16 to $20 per hour, depending on experience
  • Eligibility for affordable Team Member housing. 
  • Team Member Perks include Season Pass, resort discounts, and access to other Boyne Resorts amenities.
