Job Title: Supply Chain Management Data Lead (SAP SCM) โ€“ Principal

Location: Oakland, CA (Hybrid)

Job Type: Full-Time (Direct Hire)

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Supply Chain Management Data Lead (Principal Systems Analyst) to lead enterprise-wide data initiatives supporting a large-scale SAP S/4HANA transformation. This role will be responsible for driving master data governance, data quality, migration, and analytics across Supply Chain processes while partnering with business and technology teams to ensure successful modernization of enterprise systems.

The ideal candidate has deep expertise in SAP Materials Management (MM), Extended Warehouse Management (EWM), master data governance, and SAP migration projects with strong leadership and stakeholder management experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the Supply Chain master data workstream for SAP transformation initiatives.
  • Develop and execute enterprise data governance strategies, standards, and policies.
  • Oversee data profiling, cleansing, validation, and migration from legacy systems to SAP S/4HANA.
  • Define data conversion strategy, governance plans, retention, and archiving processes.
  • Ensure high-quality Material Master, Vendor Master, BOM, Source Lists, and related master data.
  • Collaborate with Supply Chain, Procurement, IT, and business stakeholders to identify data requirements.
  • Support reporting, analytics, and business intelligence initiatives using SAP data.
  • Validate integration between SAP MM, EWM, Procurement, and logistics applications.
  • Conduct master data quality audits and recommend process improvements.
  • Facilitate workshops with business users to define future-state processes.
  • Provide technical guidance, mentorship, and best practices to project teams.
  • Document data issues, conversion rules, and governance standards.
  • Support enterprise application enhancements across Supply Chain systems.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Supply Chain Management, Data Analytics, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 10+ years of experience in Supply Chain systems, SAP, or enterprise data management.
  • Strong experience with SAP Materials Management (MM).
  • Strong experience with SAP Extended Warehouse Management (EWM).
  • Experience leading SAP ECC to SAP S/4HANA migration projects.
