JOB SUMMARY

The Senior Manager, Amazon will report to the Director, Amazon and lead the development and execution of Amazon strategies across the SAC portfolio of brands. This role is responsible for driving growth, strengthening Amazon expertise across internal teams, managing key business levers, and building a strong partnership with Amazon to advance brand priorities and marketplace performance.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Primary Roles

  • Own forecasting, sales reporting, and promotional planning (Amazon tentpole events, beauty events and BFCM) to identify topline growth opportunities and inform business decisions.
  • Own and manage the Amazon P&L, including performance tracking, opportunity identification, and recommendations to improve profitability.
  • Drive growth for Shiseido Americas brands (Shiseido, Cle de Peau, Drunk Elephant, Issey Miyake, and Dr. Dennis Gross) on Amazon
  • Lead, coach, and develop two direct reports, ensuring clear priorities, strong execution, and continued growth within the Amazon business.
  • Serve as the Amazon subject matter expert for the organization, translating marketplace knowledge into clear recommendations and educating cross-functional teams on how to drive business performance.
  • Understand each brand's vision for their Amazon business including their unique customer bases and the role that Amazon plays in the portfolio
  • Collaborate with marketing teams to optimize brand store, PDP and A+ content
  • Creatively solve executional issues that present business risk
  • Work closely with brand teams, marketing teams, agencies and planning teams to unlock synergies
  • Act as liaison to develop trusting relationships with external and internal brand partners and strategize growth together
  • Assist Director in project managing setup and process flow for new accounts across the organization
  • Lead weekly meetings with brand and agency to discuss current state of the business and outstanding deliverables
  • Prepare clear business reports and executive presentations for the ADX team, translating performance trends, risks, and opportunities into actionable recommendations
  • Oversee and is accountable in the media investment, performance, and optimization in partnership with agency teams.

Agency Partnership

  • Work closely with agency, demand and planning teams to ensure a healthy stock rate

WHO YOU ARE 

  • College degree and minimum 7 years' experience in Amazon marketplace, retail, e-commerce, consulting, or business strategy
  • Required experience using Amazon Seller Central, including the ability to efficiently navigate the platform and manage day-to-day business needs
  • Proven track record driving results in account management (must be familiar with assortment strategy, marketing plans, e-commerce sales tactics and key metrics)
  • Proficient in analyzing business performance and making recommendations
  • Ability to work independently and in an ambiguous environment
  • Detail-oriented with a strong sense of ownership, urgency, and organization.
  • Proven success in project management & communicating effectively with cross-functional teams

The base pay for this position may vary based on geographic location. Actual base pay offered will be based on several factors including job-specific knowledge, education, skills, and depth of experience.
