Raytheon's Systems Engineering and Test Capabilities (SE&TC) Surface Radars & Sensors Center is seeking a motivated and experienced Senior System Integration & Test Engineer to support an early warning radar program within the Systems Integration and Test (SI&T) Long Range Radars Department. This is your opportunity to work with cutting-edge radar technology, leveraging your expertise in Linux operating systems, hands-on experience with system hardware and software in test lab environments, and exceptional troubleshooting skills to solve complex technical challenges. If you're a proactive problem-solver with a collaborative mindset, ready to make an impact in the aerospace and defense industry, we want you to join our innovative team driving the future of advanced radar systems.
What You Will Do
  • Install and configure electronic hardware setups installed with software builds in a String facility/HWIL for supporting integration, verification, and test activities.
  • Interface hardware with software, configure installed hardware/software to interface with networked systems, maintain and develop documentation to support integration, test plans, test activities, and resolve technical inquiries.
  • Support integration and test planning/execution, executing verification/validation events, data analysis, and providing status updates and reach-back assistance to program engineers/leads.
  • Support integration activities using test equipment and navigate through schematics,
  • documentation, and drawings.
  • Collaborate with program leads/stakeholders to generate test approaches, maintain
  • configuration control, ensure test set up readiness, and participate in key processes (peer, gate, and test readiness reviews).
  • Confirm test and evaluation processes are conducted according to established procedures for software and hardware.
  • Willingness to support 20% International travel.
  • This role will require extended hours and may require support to off-shift hours.

Qualifications You Must Have
  • Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 2 years of prior relevant experience.
  • Experience with MATLAB, Python, C/C++, and/or other programming language.
  • Experience with Systems Integration, test procedures, test plans, test scripts, data analysis, and/or verification.

Qualifications We Prefer
  • Experience with Early Warning Radar systems.
  • Experience with MATLAB, Linux Operating Systems (Linux Red Hat), and Shell scripting for performing integration and test analysis, integrating and configuring electronics, installing/debugging software, and networking/troubleshooting electronic system connections.
  • Knowledge of electronic hardware configuration and installation, software installations on hardware devices, network configurations, operations of software in String/HWIL facility, and basic networking principles.
  • Strong individual integration skills, multidisciplinary engineering team interaction skills, and willingness to perform OCONUS travel.
  • Certifications in CompTIA Network+ and or CompTIA Security+

The salary range for this role is 68,900 USD - 131,100 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
