Job description

As a Sales Director, you will be responsible for full sales cycle of IOT Antenna solutions at Maxtena. Responsibilities include creating continuous improvement in structure, processes, and incentives to increase the sales of the company's core technology products, setting quotas, evaluating, and adjusting performance.

The Sales Director reports directly to the Company's Chief Commercial Officer and works closely with other functional leaders in the Company.

The position is based in Germantown, MD.

YOUR WORK AT MAXTENA WILL INCLUDE:


  • Design and implement a strategic business plan that expands company's customer base and ensures its strong presence.

  • Manage the business development efforts & direct selling of IOT Solutions offered by the Company.

  • Participate in contract negotiation, proposal development, technical support, customer service, installation, and customer training activities.

  • Prepare account plans/proposal strategies & assume responsibility for the implementation of plans.

  • Complete responsibility for the full sales cycle, including lead follow up, design win, cold calling, closing opportunities and processing purchase orders.

  • Understand customer needs and match Company products and solutions to their requirements.

  • Collect and interpret customer requirements.

  • Issue quotations to customers and channel partners for products and services.

  • Provide and report studies of competition.

  • Maintain all customer records, purchase orders, quotes, and communication in salesforce.com.

  • Attend conferences & trade shows.

  • Present sales, revenue and expenses reports and realistic forecasts to the management team.

  • Build and maintain relationships with clients, understand their needs, and match Maxtena's products and solutions to their requirements.

  • Possess deep knowledge of business product offerings and value proposition.

  • Meet and exceed KPIs and sales targets.

REQUIREMENTS:


  • Must be a U.S. Citizen or U.S. Legal Permanent Resident

  • S./B.A in Business or Technical field, Wireless industry experience preferred

  • 3-5 years of experience in inside sales

  • Demonstrated experience in planning and implementing sales strategies

  • Demonstrated experience in analyzing sales data

  • Demonstrated experience with CRM, Salesforce preferred

  • Strong interpersonal and leadership skills

  • Strong problem-solving skills

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills

  • Demonstrated ability to prioritize and achieve goals
