Job Description

Horizon Media is seeking a Director, Program Management to provide strategic program management leadership for a dedicated program within the PMO of one of our largest clients. The focus of this role will be organizing delivery across these workstreams in a way that is strategic, efficient, and collaborative. This person will also lead specific initiatives as needed. This role requires a strategic thinker and execution leader who can align diverse stakeholders—ranging from media, technology, data and executive client leadership. They will be accountable for successful delivery, process, project management, and communication across their program while working closely with executive stakeholders.

The ideal candidate will be adept at navigating large-scale, dynamic enterprise environments, coordinating efforts across multiple business units, and ensuring that our products deliver on their vision of transforming data-driven marketing through AI-powered intelligence and automation. They are an expert at project and program management.

Key Responsibilities Strategic Program Leadership & Execution
  • Overseeend-to-end program executionfor multiple initiatives, product development and data driven efforts while ensuring they are aligned with the client’s broader business strategy.
  • Manage a complex, multi-stakeholder program spanning media, product development, data strategy, commercialization, corporate development, and media teams.
  • Build and maintain detailed project roadmaps, project plans, dependencies, risks, and solutions across workstreams.
  • Manageprogram risk and governance frameworks, defining clear decision-making structures, accountability, and prioritization.
  • Establish timelines and ensure successful execution of the program per strategic goals and expected outcomes.
  • Execute the foundational project and program management activities necessary for the program to be successful; meeting notes, projects plans, RACIs, Jira, charters, etc.
  • Facilitate communication among stakeholders so that they are informed with the right information at the right time to make decisions.
  • Proactively identify risks and issues along with mitigation strategies
  • Partner with team leads to scope work and identify capacity needs
  • Constantly optimize the team based on performance and needs
  • Partner with workstream leads to strategize the most effective process for delivering against desired outcomes
Program Coordination & Stakeholder Engagement
  • Act as a central liaison acrossall team members, including but not limited to Media, Product & Data, Engineering, Marketing Science, etc. to ensure seamless collaboration and execution
  • Facilitate engagement among internal and client stakeholders to align program deliverables with the client’s strategic goals
  • Lead senior-level discussions, ensuring alignment with leadership and driving consensus across each program.
  • Proactively identify new workstreams, issues, challenges, etc. that would increase the team’s chances for success
Contribute to Process Creation, Tool Selection, and Team Building
  • Lead process development efforts to establish ways or working across the Program Management team
  • Source and launch new tools that will allow the team to be more efficient and effective
  • Take on internal projects to elevate how we do Program Management and service stakeholders
Qualifications & Experience
  • 8+ yearsof experience inprogramand projectmanagementinan agency, ad tech, mediaconsultancyor SaaS environment
  • Strong understanding ofAI, data platforms, ad technology, and media investment strategies
  • Excellent client relationship skills
  • Experienced and knowledgeable in media, MarTech, and technology
  • Strong meeting facilitator who is comfortable planning and leading meetings at all levels
  • Strong sense of accountability and ownership. Willing to jump in and lead to get the job done.
  • Proven ability tomanage large-scale, cross-functional technology and business initiativesin a complex corporate environment
  • Strongstakeholder management and communication skills, witha track recordof working withseniorleadership
  • Expertatbuilding project plans, managing risks, and team leadership
  • Proficiencyinprogram management and collaboration tools(JIRA, Monday.com).
  • PMP, Agile, orSAFecertification is a plus.

Salary Range

$150,000.00 - $190,000.00

A successful applicant’s actual base salary may vary based on factors such as individual’s skill sets, experience, training, education, licensure/certifications, and qualifications for the role.
