Director Program Management Jobs in New Mexico (NOW HIRING)

The WESST WBC Program Director is directly responsible for delivering to WESST a compliant and functionally operational WESST Women’s Business Center (WBC) in accordance with WESST guidelines. This includes overseeing training, consulting, and partnership-building initiatives that align with WESST’s mission. Furthermore, the Program Director supervises their WBC’s staff and manages programs in compliance with WESST directives that ensure meeting Federal Grant obligations, Federal specified guidelines (including but not limited to applicable Code of Federal Regulations (CFR); Office of Women’s Business Ownership (OWBO); and Small Business Association (SBA) grant requirements). The Director will ensure activities meet or exceed WESST endorsed federal standards, all WESST policies and procedures, and WESST established performance metrics.

Job Summary:

Furthermore, the Program Director supervises their WBC’s staff and manages programs in compliance with WESST directives that ensure meeting Federal Grant obligations, Federal specified guidelines (including but not limited to applicable Code of Federal Regulations (CFR); Office of Women’s Business Ownership (OWBO); and Small Business Association (SBA) grant requirements). The Director will ensure activities meet or exceed WESST endorsed federal standards, all WESST policies and procedures, and WESST established performance metrics.

Education Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of corporate, business, education, or other consulting experience gained through higher education, professional, or lived experience.
• At least 3 years leading teams and managing programs, whether gained through education, professional, or lived experience.
• Strong understanding of federal compliance requirements, especially CFR codes and SBA grant expectations.

WESST is looking for a candidate that:

• Proven record of developing and delivering high-impact training programs to a variety of audiences.
• Bilingual (fluent in Spanish and English) is a plus
• Experience in small business consulting or coaching, with demonstrated results.
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and leadership skills, including team supervision and stakeholder engagement.
• Strong leadership and team-building skills, with experience managing diverse teams.
• Must be proficient with computers and digital tools, and able to navigate multiple software systems as part of routine responsibilities in a predominantly paperless environment (Microsoft Office Suite, CRM tools, online learning platforms, etc.).
• Willingness to travel regularly within the state of New Mexico and occasionally out of state.

• Must possess and maintain a valid driver’s license.
