Job Description

This person is accountable for the successful completion of assigned projects and/or specified project scopes within budget, on schedule and with zero construction defects in a safe manner. The Superintendent is focused on working closely with Project Management regarding the proactive identification and solution of job-related opportunities and issues. This individual will work to ensure a positive team environment based on mutual respect and collaboration between Project Management, Field Operations and all types of stakeholders on the project. 

This role is focused on customer service and will be accountable for all aspects of site operations as well as delivering projects in the field for the mutual success of our customers, internal teammates, architects, engineers, specialty contractors and other stakeholders. 

The position reports to the Director of Field Operations and has direct supervisory responsibilities over Assistant Superintendents. 

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for ensuring that assigned field operations teams manage their projects to successfully meet all operational, financial, schedule and team performance goals
  • Accountable for managing processes and procedures with limited oversight from management while meeting reporting requirements, and controls as required

  • Accountable for ensuring the preparation of accurate site logistics plans, comprehensive project schedules, full implementation of the 4-8-12 Week Planning process, monitoring schedule performance, and preparing schedule recovery plans as needed

  • Manage the Owner and Contractor relationship in a fashion that supports the Core Values, Mission statement, and business development initiatives

  • Responsible for effectively training and developing your successors

  • Responsible for Safety/Risk Management/Finance on all assigned projects

  • Accountable for the full implementation, adherence, and successful execution of the Quality Management Program

  • Accountable for the Final Completion of Site Activities and Project Closeout Requirements

Salary

$100,000 - $120,000

Qualifications
  • 5+ years of experience running Custom Home Projects as a Lead Superintendent
  • Strong knowledge of Document management and control processes
  • 5+ years of Proficient Procore, Asta Power Project and Bluebeam experience
  • 5+ years of critical path schedule software experience
  • Experience of running weekly OAC and Sub meetings
