Job description

Responsibilities
  • Lead and supervise construction activities on-site, ensuring adherence to project plans, schematics, and blueprints.
  • Coordinate with project managers, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials and services.
  • Oversee daily operations to maintain safety standards in compliance with OSHA regulations.
  • Manage project schedules using Primavera P6 and other construction management software to ensure milestones are met.
  • Conduct quality control inspections to verify work meets specified standards and contractual requirements.
  • Monitor project budgets, track costs, and assist in construction estimating and budgeting processes.
  • Read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and construction drawings for accurate execution of work.
  • Supervise field personnel, providing guidance, training, and performance evaluations.
  • Utilize tools such as ProCore, Bluebeam, HeavyBid, and Ohmmeter for project documentation, measurement, and troubleshooting.
  • Ensure all work complies with safety protocols; conduct regular safety meetings and inspections.
  • Manage contract administration tasks including review of contracts, change orders, and scope adjustments related to pipeline or heavy civil projects.

Qualifications
  • Proven experience in construction management with a strong background in supervising large-scale projects.
  • Extensive construction site experience with a solid understanding of project scheduling (Primavera P6) and management software (ProCore, Bluebeam).
  • Knowledge of contracts, construction estimating, budgeting, quality control processes, and OSHA standards.
  • Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings accurately.
  • Familiarity with construction management tools such as Primavera P6, HeavyBid, OSHAsafety protocols, and construction site safety practices.
  • Strong leadership skills with previous supervising or management experience on complex projects involving pipelines or heavy civil works.
  • Technical proficiency with tools like Ohmmeter for electrical troubleshooting is preferred.
