Job description

Pre-Op/PACU RN

We are a busy, multispecialty ambulatory surgery center in Largo, FL looking for a full-time Pre-Op/PACU RN to join our team.

Duties:
  • Perform an appropriate pre- or post-operative assessment on patients based on their procedure per physician orders and center guidelines.
  • Provide safe, individualized nursing care for each patient during their stay.
  • Administer medications and perform documentation in accordance with physician orders and clinical policies.
  • Participate in staff meetings, Quality Improvement, and Safety Initiatives as necessary.
Requirements:
  • RN license in the state of Florida.
  • Minimum 2 years as a Registered Nurse in a hospital or outpatient setting.
  • BLS and ACLS certification.
  • Pre-Op/PACU experience preferred.
Skills:
  • Ability to collaborate and work as a team with staff, physicians, and other allied health professionals.
  • Strong clinical skills including experience with IVs.
  • Ability to maintain a clean and organized workspace.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with patients, physicians, and family members.
