Job description

We are currently looking for energetic, qualified candidates to join our Preop/PAT/PACU team!

Triangle Surgery Center (TSC) is a state-of-the-art Orthopedic Facility designed with patients in mind. TSC delivers on a commitment to providing patients in the Triangle Region with quality health care while showing the highest degree of respect and integrity. Same-day, minimally invasive surgical care takes place in a timely, professional manner within an intimate setting.

The primary objective of this position is to assure the delivery of comprehensive, safe, effective, and appropriate nursing care for patients across the age continuum (2 years - geriatric) in accordance with established surgery center policy, nursing practice standards. Under the direction of the Clinical Director, the registered nurse is responsible for the care and safety of the patient while in the pre-operative and recovery areas. Responsibilities include coordinating patient care with staff in the surgery suite, preoperative patient assessment and prep including IV and medication administration, regional block assistance to anesthesia, and post anesthesia care. Demonstrates competency in identifying physiological symptoms and taking appropriate action within the NC Board of Nursing scope of practice.

Hours: Four, 10-hour shifts Monday - Friday
