POSITION OVERVIEW

The Corporate IT Infrastructure Department is seeking an experienced and results oriented Power Platform Engineer to lead the administration and operationalization of Microsoft Power Platform across the enterprise. Reporting to the Director of M365 Service Delivery, this role will be responsible for defining and executing to an ideal state for Power Platform, including standards, strategy, and configuration.

LOCATION
  • This role will be hybrid based in Jacksonville, Florida. Less than 5% travel expected.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Overall: Oversee Power Platform administration and operations, including environment strategy, DLP policies, lifecycle management, and monitoring. To maintain a scalable, secure foundation that empowers makers and supports enterprise-grade solutions.

Detail
  • Serve as SME on the configuration and administration required to enable the business to effectively utilize products including Power Apps, Power Automate, Power Pages, Microsoft Copilot Studio, Microsoft Dataverse, Connectors, Application Lifecycle Management (ALM), Process Mining, Desktop Flows (RPA).

  • Work extensively within the Power Platform Administration Center.

  • Ensure proper Application Lifecycle Management (ALM) and Monitoring & Analytics is maintained.

  • Work closely with the Microsoft 365 Platform support team (L2/L3) and Power Platform application develops on their objectives.

  • Optimize and standardize managed environment deployment and management.

  • Manage and develop power platform data services (Dataverse) and their use cases and governance/ownership.

  • Handle escalations from technical support teams and key IT stakeholders & management.

Other
  • Coordinate with Major Incident Management teams, vendors and other IT stakeholders, to drive resolution of high impact service outages.

  • Driving and managing continual service improvements with technical and non-technical teams, including automation and process topics

  • Working closely with IT Finance and Licensing in implementing service budgets. For example, assisting in the administration of policies aligned to departments, cost centers, or governed use cases.

  • Perform other duties and responsibilities as required.

  • Willingness to travel if required.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
  • Education Requirement: Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, information technology, or a related field.

  • Experience Term Requirements: 7+ years of job-related experience required, including several years of recent experience in Modern Workplace / Microsoft 365 technical leadership.

  • Overall: Demonstrated experience with assisting with the management of a F500’s enterprise Microsoft Power Platform program, including Power Platform, as well as enabling and collaborating with neighboring technology teams.

  • Networking Fundamentals: Understanding TCP/IP, DNS, firewalls, and network security is important in troubleshooting connectivity issues and optimizing performance.

  • Security Best Practices: A good understanding of security principles, including least privilege, zero trust, and data loss prevention (DLP), is desired.

  • Implementation: An understanding of how Microsoft 365 is implemented is critical for the role.

  • Communication: Excellent communication and presentation skills in English

  • Certifications: Relevant certifications such as Microsoft certifications in M365/Power Platform/security.

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE
  • IT project management experience in planning and implementing enterprise level systems.

  • Experience in technology product management.

  • Experience with data analysis using Power BI, Excel Pivot Tables, or other similar tools.
