Location: Hybrid, 4 days a week on-site (Must live in Carmel, Fishers, Kokomo, or Anderson, Indiana)

Salary: $65,712.77 - $91,599.55 per year

How you'll make an impact in this role
  • Multi-Hospital Financial Support & Month-End Close: Support Finance Managers and Directors across 4 hospitals, actively participating in the month-end close cycle (days 1-5) by extracting data, running Oracle queries, and loading budget spreads.
  • Routine & Operational Reporting: Drive recurring reporting cadences, including bi-weekly premium pay monitoring, standard profitability analyses, labor productivity tracking, and healthcare cost/provider contract reviews to identify cost-saving opportunities.
  • BI Dashboards & Data Visualization: Query, clean, and manipulate large historical datasets to build, publish, and maintain interactive dashboards in Tableau and Power BI for executive and operational decision support.
  • Business Partnership & Data Storytelling: Translate complex quantitative findings into clear insights, serving as a consultative financial partner to non-financial stakeholders and participating in daily 9:00 AM hospital safety huddles.
What minimum qualifications you'll need

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

  • Accountant preferred. Licensure required relevant to state in which work is performed.

Education:

  • High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience OR Associate's degree/Bachelor's degree OR 4 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
What additional requirements you'll need
  • Advanced Technical Stack: Advanced Excel proficiency (XLOOKUP, INDEX/MATCH, complex pivot tables), experience querying databases in Oracle, and a strong background in data modeling and manipulation.
  • Healthcare Finance Experience: Prior exposure to hospital operations, healthcare cost structures, labor productivity, and premium pay dynamics.
  • Hands-on BI Platform Expertise: Proven track record of creating, publishing, and managing end-to-end reports and dashboards within Tableau and Power BI.
