Job description

At Crooked, we believe the answer to a rising authoritarian movement is a democratic movement powerful enough to fight it and (fingers crossed) defeat it. That means using all the tools at our disposal as a media company to help build a massive, diverse coalition united behind a core set of democratic values: freedom, equality, compassion, and the rule of law.

Job Summary:

Crooked Media is looking for a Los Angeles-based Network Operations Coordinator to support the technical publishing, and platform management for our network and subscriber experience for our Friends of the Pod subscription. This role will focus on uploading and managing podcast and written content across our network, including our subscription platforms while providing direct technical and customer support to our subscriber community.

They should have a strong understanding of digital publishing workflows, an interest in news and politics, and a commitment to helping maintain a smooth, high-quality experience for both producers and subscribers.

This role works closely with producers, marketing, and the subscription team to ensure episodes, written content, and subscriber-exclusive materials are delivered correctly and on schedule. The Network Operations Coordinator will also help troubleshoot platform issues, support producers during the publishing process, and respond to subscriber inquiries across email, Substack, Discord, and other platforms. They will report to the Director of Network Operations.

This role is based out of our Los Angeles office and follows a hybrid schedule based on the job's needs.
