The Engagement Leader โ€“ Transition & Transformation will have end-to-end accountability for the Sales Planning and Incentive Compensation managed services engagement. This leader will own customer relationships, service transition from the incumbent provider, operating model design, global delivery governance, technology transformation, and long-term business growth. The role combines executive engagement, consulting, transition leadership, operational excellence, and transformation into a single accountable owner.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Own the overall Sales Performance Management engagement from transition through steady-state operations.
  • Act as the executive sponsor for customer stakeholders across Sales Operations, Finance, HR, IT, and executive leadership.
  • Lead due diligence, discovery workshops, and transition planning.
  • Develop and execute the transition strategy, including knowledge acquisition, shadow, reverse-shadow, cutover, hypercare, and stabilization.
  • Design the future-state operating model, governance framework, SLAs, KPIs, RACI, and delivery processes.
  • Lead offshore managed services teams and ensure service quality, productivity, and customer satisfaction.
  • Own executive governance, steering committees, QBRs, RAID management, and financial performance.
  • Drive technology modernization, automation, AI adoption, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Partner with the Varicent Solution Architect, Business Consulting Lead, Data & Integration Lead, and AI Lead to deliver transformation outcomes.
  • Build reusable delivery assets, delivery playbooks, and operational excellence frameworks.
  • Support presales, solution strategy, staffing, and practice development.

Required Experience

  • 12+ years of enterprise consulting, managed services, or digital transformation experience.
  • 8+ years leading Sales Performance Management, Sales Operations, Incentive Compensation, or enterprise SaaS engagements.
  • Proven experience leading at least two enterprise transition or transformation programs.
  • Experience managing global/offshore delivery organizations.
  • Experience working with Fortune 500 clients.
