Job description

*This is a hybrid position requires 4 days (M-Th) onsite in Brentwood, TN.

SUMMARY:
The Director, Oracle Fusion Financials leads the strategy and ongoing management of the Oracle Fusion Financials platform. Acts as the primary liaison between Finance and IT. Supports the business in financial activities such as financial operations, reporting, and compliance. Drives ERP road map planning, system optimization, and finance transformation activities while overseeing system stability, enhancements, and integrations. Leads cross-functional teams and vendor partners to deliver high-quality solutions, improve business processes, and maximize return on ERP investments. Ensures governance, audit compliance, and data integrity across financial systems. Promotes best practices and continuous improvement across the ERP platform.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
The incumbent should be able to perform all of the following functions at a pace and level of performance consistent with the job performance requirements.

  1. Oversees day-to-day support, administration, and operational stability of the Oracle Fusion Financials platform.
  2. Supports business areas during key accounting calendar events, including financial close, reporting, audits, and related activities.
  3. Partners with Accounting, Finance, and IT leadership to drive and support business initiatives, acting as a key liaison between Accounting, Finance, IT, and business stakeholders.
  4. Collaborates with accounting and finance teams to identify process improvements, systems enhancements, and priorities for the financials roadmap.
  5. Defines and maintains the financials roadmap for future upgrades, functionality improvements, and initiatives that support accounting and finance business objectives.
  6. Supervises staff in the performance of their duties and evaluates as prescribed by company policy. This includes training and onboarding new employees, evaluating performance and preparing written reviews, providing coaching and development, listening to concerns and resolving issues or disputes, taking corrective or disciplinary action when appropriate, developing work schedules, and approving leave requests.
  7. Oversees financial data accuracy and supports adherence to Sarbanes-Oxley Act (SOX) controls and audit requirements.
  8. Leads technical teams in supporting financial systems and delivering enhancements for business areas.
  9. Monitors and supports achievement of service level agreements for ticket resolution and system uptime.
  10. Serves as primary escalation point for accounting and finance system issues, requests, and concerns.
  11. Maintains appropriate segregation of duties and access controls across financial systems to protect financial data, mitigate risk, and ensure regulatory compliance.
  12. Performs periodic access reviews to validate user roles remain appropriate, remove unnecessary access, and address conflicts resulting from organizational changes.
  13. Manages external vendors and project partners supporting business initiatives and the Oracle Fusion financial platform, ensuring effective delivery, alignment with business objectives, and adherence to performance expectations.
  14. Establishes and maintains Oracle support relationships to ensure timely and effective issue resolution, high-quality service delivery, and ongoing reliability and platform support.
  15. Evaluates Oracle Fusion quarterly updates, emerging technologies, and cloud-based solutions to assess and communicate potential business impacts, identify new capabilities, address business needs, and recommend strategic actions to stakeholders.
  16. Domestic U.S. travel may be required.
