Job description

Home Again Assisted Living is currently looking for a Travel Community Director to join our team! This position is full-time (40+ hours per week) & requires it to be on site. It will require regular travel between Home Again Assisted Living communities located throughout the Greater Madison area (Waunakee, Columbus, Cambridge). Candidates must reside within the Greater Madison area or within reasonable commuting distance to effectively support the operational needs of our communities.
The Travel Community Director supports the directors of Home Again Assisted Living communities with supervision and management on a temporary, extended or as-needed basis. May be assigned to a location during a management absence/vacation, startup, acquisition, or to assist with special projects under the direction of the Director of Operations. This role functions across multiple areas, including leadership, quality assurance, staff training, regulatory compliance and direct resident care as needed. Ensures operations align with Home Again's mission and strategic goals to enhance resident satisfaction, team engagement, occupancy, culture and operational efficiency.
What your day to day looks like:
  • Oversee the daily operations of the Community
  • Orients, supervises, evaluates, reviews and appropriately disciplines all community staff
  • Serve as the point of contact for families, residents, and regulatory agencies
  • Foster a culture of teamwork, engagement, and exceptional customer service
  • Develop and implement strategic plans to enhance occupancy, resident satisfaction, and overall community success
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, state regulations, and industry standards
  • Create and maintain staff schedules
  • Assist in developing and conducting service plan reviews with appropriate resident care team members and resident families
  • Helps resolve budget discrepancies and financial variances
  • Traveling to all Home Again Assisted Living Locations
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in healthcare administration or a related field
  • Prior experience in leadership in assisted living, senior living, or long-term care
  • Must be willing and able to travel to various communities as needed
  • Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Strong critical thinking, communication, team building and leadership skills
  • CBRF Certifications
  • Have flexibility to help in all aspects of running day to day operations including working as a Resident Assistant, when needed
  • 18years of age
