Job Requirements

This Senior Director - Operations role is responsible for planning, directing, and overseeing operations within the assigned region/offices to ensure efficient, cost-effective systems that support current and future business needs. The position involves defining and implementing operational strategies, staying informed on industry trends, and ensuring project delivery meets financial goals. Key responsibilities include managing day-to-day operations, monitoring budgets and financial performance, driving process improvements, ensuring compliance, and collaborating with sales, IT, HR, Finance, and collections teams to optimize resources and maintain positive cash flow. Additionally, the role leads talent management efforts, including recruitment, development, succession planning, and fostering a high-performance culture aligned with company values, while providing coaching and mentorship to enhance professional growth and operational excellence.


Work Experience
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, or other related field required. Master's degree preferred. 
  • At least 15 years of industry-related experience required.
  • At least 5 years of proven experience in a senior operational management role, ideally within the construction industry, required. 
  • Demonstrated working knowledge of controls theories and contracting best practices. 
  • Knowledge of legacy customers' installed base systems  or other building automation software preferred.
  • Expert knowledge of CAD software and MS Office suite, preferred.
  • Strong leadership qualities with the ability to motivate and inspire a diverse team. 
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively at all levels of the organization. 
  • Ability to adapt and be flexible in a changing environment.
  • Ability to multi-task, work under pressure and meet deadlines required.
  • Must be able to deal with a large volume of work in a fast-paced, time-sensitive environment.
