Job description

Claiborne Senior Living is seeking a clinically strong and people-focused Director of Wellness (DOW) to lead health services within our senior living community. We prefer an RN; however, qualified LPN candidates with strong leadership experience are encouraged to apply (in accordance with state-specific regulations).

This role is ideal for a nurse leader who takes ownership of clinical outcomes, acts with integrity, remains focused on resident safety, and believes our culture truly matters.

What You’ll Do

  • Oversee all clinical services and resident care operations
  • Ensure compliance with state-specific regulations and company policies
  • Lead Health Services Evaluations (HSEs) and service planning
  • Monitor quality indicators, incident trends, and change-of-condition processes
  • Supervise and develop LPNs, CNAs, Med Techs, and caregivers
  • Manage medication systems, pharmacy partnerships, and documentation standards
  • Support family communication and care conferences
  • Prepare for and participate in regulatory surveys and quality audits
  • Drive a culture of safety, integrity, and clinical excellence

What We’re Looking For

  • Active RN or LPN license in good standing (state-specific requirements apply)
  • Multi-state experience a plus
  • Previous leadership experience in senior living, assisted living, or long-term care preferred
  • Strong understanding of regulatory compliance and clinical operations
  • Experience supervising and coaching clinical team members
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to lead with accountability and professionalism
