Purpose of Job:   
Responsible for program development and implementation of all mental health, wellness, family engagement and wrap-around services/programs provided by Girls inc. of Greater Atlanta. Additionally, responsible for administrative responsibilities as delegated.
The mission of Girls Inc. of Greater Atlanta is to inspire all girls to be strong, smart, and bold. Our comprehensive approach to whole girl development equips girls to navigate gender, economic, and social barriers and grow up healthy, educated, and independent. Informed by girls and their families, we also advocate for legislation and policies to increase opportunities for all girls and address the systemic barriers that impede girls’ success. 
Position Summary

The Wellness and Family Engagement Director is responsible for developing, leading, and implementing the program strategy in relation to mental health and wellness services/programs in addition to family engagement and wrap-a-round services programs. These programs are specifically targeted to support Girls Inc. participants and families along with the communities where Girls Inc. programs are provided. This is a critical and complex position that involves cultivating partnerships, implementing key priorities, and serving our families, schools, community and staff with excellence and professionalism.
Principal Responsibilities

·       Develop, implement, manage and evaluate an array of comprehensive Wellness Programs and services at multiple sites in various communities served by Girls Inc. of Greater Atlanta
·       Support the CEO in establishing strategic planning processes, policy analysis, data collection and reporting with regard to the Wellness Program
·       Customize and implement program strategies so that it meets the needs of youth and families
·       Plans and organizes Family Support Service workshops and/or events that inform and educates families about community resources 
·       Identify, establish and cultivate partnerships and community resources to increase program opportunities for girls and expand the footprint of Girls Inc. in Greater Atlanta area
·       Plan, coordinate, and implement Family Engagement Programs across all Girls Inc. programs.
 
·       Build the one-on-one relationships with students, families, staff, and appropriate community change agents as necessary to establish collaborative partnerships designed to meet individual student needs
·       Works closely with program staff, schools and community partners to assess and support the behavioral, emotional and mental health needs of Girls Inc. participants
·       Provides individual and/or group therapy for Girls inc. families and participants when appropriate and aa needed with Community partnerships
·       Provides staff training and professional development in relation to child development, behavioral management, SEL and classroom management
·       Maintain relevant and up-to-date programs based on youth development best practices along with current development needs and interest of girls
·       Recruit, train and manage a team of Wellness Program Facilitators to deliver high-quality programming and achieve organizational impact
·       Ensure personnel policies as well as organization expectations are communicated and implemented with staff, interns and volunteers
·       Ensure programmatic and reporting commitments for grant-funded programs are met.
·       Develop and maintain a high level of knowledge of Girls Inc. National programs and standards for creating new curriculum
·       Assist in the development and management of the budget, oversee expenditures, and work closely with the CEO, COO+ and Director of Development to ensure proper financial reporting. 
·       Work with Development Team to create partner proposals and successfully market program opportunities
·       Conduct benchmarking efforts, process improvements and other work-related center operations and program management improvements
·       Perform all other duties as assigned

Qualifications

Required
·       Bachelor’s degree with undergraduate or graduate level courses in Social Work, Counseling, Mental Health or Psychology related degree
·        Master’s degree in social work, Psychology, Counseling or Mental Heath related degree
·       State of Georgia Licensures: Licensed Clinical Social Work (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Licensed Psychologist Credentials
·       7+ years of experience working as a licensed therapist and/or mental healthcare practitioner that provides counselling services
·       5+ years of experience working in mental health, social work and youth development or a related field
·       5+ years of experience in staff supervision and management, and program administration and evaluation.
·       Highly organized with strong database and data management skills.
·       Demonstrated ability to facilitate collaborative work among people with diverse backgrounds and skill levels.
·       Exceptional written, oral, interpersonal, and presentation skills and the ability to effectively interface with senior management, Board of Directors, and staff.
·       Strong attention to detail
·       Demonstrated ability to work effectively with minimal direct supervision.
·       Ability to lead large, key partnerships that demand critical thinking, relationship building, and executing with excellence.
·       Ability to travel 50 - 60% of the time.
