Director of Warehousing & Logistics

At Food Lifeline, we believe that access to food is a basic human right. We are seeking a strategic, collaborative, and mission-driven Director of Warehousing & Logistics to lead the systems that move millions of pounds of food throughout our region each year. This role is responsible for providing leadership and oversight of warehouse operations, inventory management, transportation and logistics, food safety, quality assurance, and operational support functions.

As a member of Food Lifeline's leadership team, the Director of Warehousing & Logistics will help shape organizational strategy while ensuring the safe, efficient, and equitable distribution of food to our communities. This leader will build and support a high-performing team, drive continuous improvement efforts, leverage data to inform decision-making, and foster a culture of accountability, safety, collaboration, and innovation.

The ideal candidate brings deep operational expertise, strong people leadership skills, and a commitment to Food Lifeline's mission and values. They understand the critical role logistics and supply chain operations play in advancing community impact and are energized by the opportunity to lead complex operations in service of ending hunger.

In this role, you will:

  • Provide strategic leadership for warehouse operations, transportation, inventory management, food safety, and quality assurance.
  • Lead and develop a high-performing operations team while fostering a culture of inclusion, learning, and accountability.
  • Partner across departments to align food acquisition, inventory strategy, distribution, and community impact goals.
  • Utilize data, systems, and continuous improvement practices to strengthen operational performance and service delivery.
  • Ensure compliance with food safety, workplace safety, and regulatory requirements while promoting a culture of safety throughout the organization.
  • Contribute to organizational leadership, planning, and cross-functional initiatives that advance Food Lifeline's mission.

Compensation & Benefits

Salary Range: $115,000 - $140,000 annually. This range represents the current full salary range for the position.

Food Lifeline is committed to fair, transparent, and equitable compensation practices that support our mission to address hunger and its root causes. Movement through the salary range may occur over time and is guided by performance, role development, and organizational compensation practices.
