We are seeking a passionate, dedicated, and inspiring Director of Nursing, ready to play a key role in delivering exceptional care at our residence. Tasks of the Director of Care Quality of care: Supervise and control the quality of care provided in our residences by monitoring in relation to RPA certification and according to the agreements provided for in the various public contracts. Participate in the assessment of the care required at the residence. Supporting care coordinators in updating their work plans Ensure compliance with delegated actions for each type of job related to care. Develop and standardize nursing care protocols that take into account the need to provide adequate and efficient services to residents as well as residences. Develop and standardize medical care protocols and rules for the use of medications applicable to nurses authorized to perform care activities. Ensure that the training records of employees in the care department are up to date in collaboration with the directors and care coordinators. Keeping up-to-date with developmental and certification requirements in nursing to maintain and improve the quality of services. Supporting care coordinators and directors in managing complaints and intervening early to minimize the repercussions that may result. Administration and management: Ensure the efficiency of technological tools such as SOFI, and collaborate on their implementation. (Example: xPILL PRO) Ensure good communication with the CIUSSS and stakeholders. Communicate relevant information to senior management. Consider the overall vision of the Society in its decision-making and in the choice of its interventions. Collaborating in the management of budgets allocated to healthcare Represent the Company at meetings, congresses and all other business events related to care. Staff mobilization and supervision: To exercise leadership and mobilize one's team through both one's know-how and interpersonal skills. Assist in the hiring of nursing staff; conduct interviews with managers. To report on all activities under their supervision to the general manager. To be a positive and unifying leader. Be available and accessible to the care coordinators and directors. Contribute to the retention of nursing staff and be attentive to their career development needs. Ensure that employees are trained and qualified in their jobs. Provide training modules and coaching as needed. Communicate and collaborate with the human resources department.
