Calla Residence | Saint-Sacrement District – Quebec City Hourly : Temporary contract From September 1st to 25th, 2026 Daytime hours Monday to Friday Salary : Starting at $18.93/hour Opportunity to continue with the team after the contract Are you a creative, dynamic, and people-oriented person? Do you enjoy creating beautiful moments and want to have a tangible impact on the daily lives of seniors? Résidence Calla is looking for someone to temporarily join its recreation team in September. Located at the entrance to the Saint-Sacrement district in Quebec City, close to all amenities, Résidence Calla, part of Groupe Vitae, welcomes seniors experiencing a loss of physical or cognitive autonomy. The residence also offers convalescent care. Our diverse clientele allows us to create activities tailored to different interests and levels of independence. Here, leisure plays a significant role in the daily lives of our residents! YOUR ROLE:   In collaboration with the team, you will contribute to creating an active, stimulating and welcoming living environment for our residents. Your main responsibilities will be to: Organize and lead three to four activities per day; Encourage and support residents in order to promote their participation; Adapt activities to the physical and cognitive abilities of the participants; To offer a variety of activities that stimulate intellectual, physical, social and sensory abilities; Participate in the planning of the activity schedule; Prepare the necessary equipment for the different activities; Participate in decorating the residence during special activities or events; To create opportunities for residents to come together and to encourage interaction between them; Collaborating with other team members to promote the integration and well-being of residents; To be imaginative and propose new ideas. THE PROFILE WE ARE LOOKING FOR: We are primarily looking for someone who likes people and is able to easily build relationships. You could be the right person if you are: Dynamic and positive; Creative and resourceful; Autonomous and organized; Attentive and respectful; Comfortable in front of a group; Capable of taking initiative; Patient and able to adapt to different clientele. Experience working with the elderly or in providing entertainment is an asset, but above all we are looking for a motivated person who wants to get involved with our residents. WHY CHOOSE CALLA?
