As Director of Operations, your responsibilities will include, but will not be limited to:

  • Front and Back of house operations, including:
  • Mastering all knowledge and skills of every position in the restaurant
  • Managing cash controls in a safe, efficient manner.

•Managing inventory for store and operations

  • Ensuring procedures are properly carried out
  • Regularly evaluating organizational efficiency, identifying weak spots, and making necessary changes to maximize staff productivity
  • Preparing and maintaining standards in customer service and hospitality, food safety, cleanliness, and organization
  • Planning and monitoring day-to-day operations
  • Monitoring the efficiency of business procedures using LEAN
  • Thinking and acting strategically to support the needs of the business, including:
  • Setting strategic quarterly operational goals
  • Reviewing financial Information and creating budgets
  • Managing relationships with external partners and vendors
  • Connecting regularly with all leaders to guarantee excellence in communication for all initiatives related to the operations of the business
  • Being a good steward of the business, which means protecting our culture and looking for ways to maximize our investment
  • Facilitating the team member and guest experience, including:
  • Giving performance reviews and daily feedback to team members and leaders
  • Assisting HR Director in sourcing, hiring, and managing talent
  • Facilitating training sessions at quarterly team member Development Days
  • Training team members and developing front counter leaders
  • Overseeing the guest experience and ensuring that each guest receives the best possible customer service

Preferred (but not required) qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree or above, preferably in business or hospitality
  • 3 years of experience as a leader of operations
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and Google Suite products

To be considered for this position, you must:

  • Be able to work Monday through Saturday between 5:45AM and 11:00PM with flexible start times
  • Be able to lift 50lbs. (in the event that you need to move inventory, help unload a truck, etc.)
  • Be able to work in a standing position for long periods of time
  • Demonstrate a high level of professionalism, with excellent communication skills.
  • Have the ability to take initiative and possess skills for problem solving and conflict resolution.
  • Be efficient and detail-oriented with a strong customer focus.
