Cloud Software Platform Product Manager

Description -

HP is transforming the way people work through consumer and enterprise business solutions and services that delight our customers. These new solutions and services leverage our internal HP Cloud Platform offering common infrastructure, tools, and services for software developers.

As part of the Software Product Management team for the platform, you will be responsible for defining and managing key components of our next-generation cloud platform by engaging with HP software and business teams to understand their pain points, strategies, programs and solution needs. This role focuses in two areas: defining and selecting best-in-class cloud platform capabilities from internal services as they converge onto the platform, and enabling new agentic AI solutions & processes that will transform and accelerate software development and delivery at HP. You will help build and prioritize the platform roadmap for maximum impact across all HP business units. You will ensure our customers' success in using the cloud platform to leverage best-in-class core services, managed infrastructure services, and software development tools and processes to deliver HP customer experiences that amaze. This role leads from both a product and program perspective, as you formulate strategies and meticulous plans for our future technologies and AI transformation. You will be part of a team supporting thousands of software developers, and hundreds of millions of users and devices worldwide.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Facilitate and partner with business and technical leaders to develop value propositions, secure budgets, assess priorities, and integrate strategic initiatives across HP business units.

  • Drive strong professional relationships with HP businesses and software solutions, including program, product, engineering, and executive management teams.

  • Lead the creation & development of the cloud platform product in partnership with internal stakeholders.

  • Lead cross-functional teams through agile development processes.

  • Manage the entire product and feature lifecycle for your domain, from strategic planning ideation to tactical execution implementation and stabilization.

  • Integrate usability studies, gather voice of the customer, and use research and market analysis to discover and define rich, compelling user experiences.

  • Manage solution engagement and onboarding, ensuring customer and partner success.

  • Maintain clear priorities and relentless execution in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

  • Partner with program management team to create SMART goals and a realistic schedule balancing speed, quality and resource constraints.

  • Collaborate with software engineering bring ideas and prototypes to life.

  • Advise key stakeholders on the portfolio strategy across all phases of the lifecycle.

  • Define and report key metrics to drive future product developments.

  • Define and use Agentic AI tools to fast track most of the above tasks.

Education & Experience

  • Four-year or Graduate Degree in Business, Computer Science, Software Engineering, Product Marketing, or similar discipline, commensurate work experience or demonstrated competence.

  • 7+ years of experience in software development, cloud infrastructure, platform engineering, business planning, and/or product marketing.

  • Experience in product development transformation through agentic AI.

Knowledge & Skills

  • Relentlessly focused on engaging customer experiences.

  • Outstanding communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal, for diverse audiences including the scrum team, the program team, business solution teams, and executive management.

  • Excellent interpersonal skills; able to build, manage and influence virtual teams over which you have no direct control.

The pay range for this role is$116,150to$182,400USD annually with additional opportunities for pay in the form of bonus and/or equity (applies to United States of America candidates only). Pay varies by work location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
