The Role

This manager role is responsible for leading the M365 Power Platform team supporting Power Platform, Copilot Studio, and other related M365 applications and environments. This individual will bring the leadership, management, and technical experience needed to oversee Microsoft commercial and government tenants, including configuration management, operational excellence, integrations, security, and governance.

Location

This is a remote position open to candidates based anywhere in the U.S.

The Main Responsibilities
  • Lead the strategy, development, and governance of Microsoft 365 architecture, administrative standards, and platform capabilities while providing technical leadership and management oversight for enterprise Microsoft 365 environments.
  • Serve as the liaison between Lumen and Microsoft for platform deployment, maintenance, upgrades, and governance.
  • Manage platform health, availability, administration, support, documentation, policies, and operational processes.
  • Improve data lifecycle management, security, integrations, and process automation in partnership with IT, Security, Legal, and business teams.
  • Enable business outcomes by configuring Microsoft 365 capabilities that improve user efficiency and align with ITIL best practices.
What We Look For in a Candidate
  • Major/Degree: Computer Science, Engineering, or similar technical degree.
  • A minimum of 8 years of related Microsoft administrative and architecture work experience, including prior experience managing or leading technical teams in an enterprise environment
  • Power Platform: Knowledge and experience with the Power Platform, including Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI, and Copilot Studio. Candidates should be able to design, develop, and maintain solutions using these tools.
  • Extensive experience implementing and managing in Microsoft for processes and modules including Teams, SharePoint, One Drive, Power Platform tools and associated applications with security and access management
  • Ability to analyze, troubleshoot and resolve complex software application related problems
  • Exceptional customer service skills
  • Experience troubleshooting integration management, security, and application issues 

Preferred Qualifications

  • PowerShell experience
  • Relevant certifications, such as Microsoft Certified: Power Platform Developer Associate or Microsoft Certified: Power Platform Solution Architect Expert.
  • Working knowledge of software development methodologies, standards, and coding best practices
Compensation
This information reflects the anticipated base salary range for this position based on current national data. Minimums and maximums may vary based on location. Individual pay is based on skills, experience and other relevant factors.
