  • Experience within aerospace, automotive, fasteners, or other highly regulated manufacturing industries


The Director of Operations is responsible for leading the manufacturing, production control, facilities, tooling, and equipment functions while driving operational performance across Safety, Quality, Delivery, Inventory, and Cost objectives. This leader will direct daily operations execution, develop long-term operational strategies, and champion Continuous Improvement initiatives that support profitable, sustainable growth.


Responsibilities:

  • Provide leadership and direction for all operational functions, including manufacturing, production control, facilities, tooling, and equipment.
  • Drive Safety, Quality, Schedule, Delivery, Inventory, and Cost performance objectives while implementing recovery plans when necessary.
  • Lead Lean Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement initiatives focused on operational efficiency and business performance.
  • Manage Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and daily operational reporting to drive accountability and execution.
  • Develop and execute strategies that improve throughput, reduce cost, and strengthen operational performance.
  • Coordinate manufacturing activities across operations, materials, maintenance, and production planning functions.
  • Identify and lead high-impact operational improvement initiatives to rapid completion.
  • Build and develop high-performing teams through a collaborative, accountable, and results-oriented leadership style.
