Job Title: Sr Director of Process Engineering & Operations Houston Metro Area
Travel : Up to 50%
Job Type: Full-Time
Exempt Compensation: $200-250k

Our client is seeking and experienced Sr Director of Process Engineering and Operations. This is a highly visible role to senior management with a well established organization. Drive engineering excellence across the multiple locations and process improvements in plants.
Responsibilities:
Engineering Leadership - maintain standardization of engineering across locations nationally
Partner with local leadership to create process improvement and automation
Six Sigma adherence
Provide technical engineering oversight resulting in improvement product quality and reduction of safety incidents
Ensure OSHA compliance - electrical , mechanical and environmental
Develop and manage budget for engineering and maintenance divisions of organization
Education & Experience
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, Manufacturing, or related field required).
  • Advanced degree, PE license, or certifications (Lean Six Sigma, PMP, CMRT) +++
  • Min of 15+ years of progressive engineering leadership experience in manufacturing and/or distribution environments.
  • Demonstrated success managing trades-based maintenance teams (welders, electricians, technicians).
  • Ability to travel up to 50%
