Job description

*Full-Time | Field + Office | Leadership Role*

About the Role:

We are seeking a proven leader to modernize and rebuild our company-wide system for:

  • Workloading
  • Labor standards
  • Production rate optimization
  • Estimating & bid accuracy
  • Training and rollout to operations teams

This is a high-impact role with executive visibility. You will help design the playbook that determines how we staff, price, and operate every commercial cleaning contract.

What You’ll Own:

  • Build and implement a standardized workloading and estimating methodology
  • Develop production rate benchmarks and labor standards (sq. ft. per hour)
  • Conduct time studies, route analysis, and workflow optimization
  • Improve bid accuracy through job costing feedback and real-world validation
  • Identify and eliminate “lost time” (travel time, setup, rework, inefficiencies)
  • Implement best practices (team cleaning, hybrid cleaning models, sequencing)
  • Train supervisors, managers, and estimating staff to use the new system
  • Help evaluate and deploy technology tools for inspections, work orders, and labor management

What Success Looks Like:

  • Higher productivity without sacrificing quality
  • More competitive bids with controlled margins
  • Improved consistency in staffing plans across accounts
  • A repeatable system that can scale as the company grows

Required Experience:

  • 7+ years experience in one or more of the following:
    • Commercial janitorial / contract cleaning
    • Facility services operations
    • Healthcare EVS or housekeeping operations
    • Labor-heavy field operations (multi-site)
  • Strong estimating and labor modeling experience
  • Proven ability to improve labor efficiency and operational performance
  • Comfortable working in the field (observations/time studies) and in the office (models/pricing)
  • Advanced Excel skills

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Industrial Engineering degree or equivalent work experience
  • Lean Six Sigma (Green Belt or Black Belt)
  • BSCAI certifications (CBSE or RBSM)
  • Experience with janitorial software platforms such as:
    • Janitorial Manager
    • CleanTelligent
    • Similar workloading / inspection / labor management systems
