POSITION SUMMARY:
The Member Experience Director takes ownership of the membership acquisition process from beginning to end. This position hires, trains and directs a team of Membership Ambassadors to ensure every new member has a positive buying experience and is warmly welcomed and oriented to the club. The team focuses on and executes best practices to ensure effective member acquisition, member integration, and the creation of NPS "Promoters". The Member Experience Director is responsible for the club achieving its membership goals. This position will be provided with direct supervision by the General Manager and Assistant General Manager, and a dotted-line reporting relationship to the Vice President of Member Experience. The Member Experience Director must be highly organized and able to lead a department.
COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS INCLUDE:
  • Annually, based on relevant experience to the role, plus bonus. Full-time hours.

QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Relationship-based selling/servicing skills and training/presentation skills
  • Word, Excel and PowerPoint basic proficiency
  • Budgeting and analysis skills
  • Experience with grassroots marketing
  • Specific experience in customer engagement and retention is a plus
  • 3 years sales management and leadership experience
  • Club and/or hospitality industry experience (high-end, resort-style, family-oriented facilities) preferred
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; great listening skills
  • Polished phone skills
  • Able to handle multiple and concurrent projects and responsibilities
  • Accountable for meeting deadlines
  • Creative and resourceful
  • Strong leadership skills
  • Skilled at rapport and relationship-building
  • Bachelor's degree preferred
  • First Aid/CPR certification required within 90 days of hire date
