A quick stand‑up aligns supervisors on the day’s priorities: a value stream improvement on the SMT line, a material flow tweak to cut handling time, and a safety housekeeping audit. Midday, you sync with the CFO and other key executives to tie operational outcomes to financial targets. The afternoon is a mix of coaching teams on lean methods, reviewing capital equipment proposals, and partnering with design engineering to smooth an upcoming product launch with strong DFM input. You wrap by documenting process changes, updating MRP II parameters, and confirming that ISO, HAZMAT, and corporate standards are fully met.What you will leadContinuous improvement that expands output and reduces cost across production and distribution through better methods, workflow, training, MRP utilization, equipment performance, documentation, and safety.Operational and financial delivery in close partnership with the CFO and other key executives.End‑to‑end manufacturing and distribution process understanding; elimination of waste; measurable gains in equipment and personnel efficiency.Capital strategy: recommend purchase, lease, modification, repair, and maintenance of equipment and tooling to meet performance objectives.Creation and monitoring of meaningful performance metrics and repeatable measurement systems for internal and external processes.Structured improvement initiatives using value stream mapping, analysis, and targeted projects that reduce scrap, repair, and rework while increasing out‑of‑box quality.Deployment of SPC, appropriate testing and inspection, and mistake‑proofing (poka‑yoke).Facility standards: clean, organized, safe, and ergonomic operations with high inventory accuracy.Education and tooling for supervisors and hourly teams to succeed with the company’s manufacturing initiatives.Organization‑wide motivation that fosters a continuous improvement mindset.New product introduction in partnership with design engineering, with early DFM guidance to speed and simplify manufacturability.Robust documentation of processes and procedures; rigorous change control; adherence to ISO, HAZMAT, and corporate requirements.Rapid resolution of manufacturing and distribution issues.Active participation on the Corporate Leadership Team, modeling values, sound judgment, and policy compliance.Strict observance of DMP Data Classification Standards.Flexibility to take on evolving responsibilities as directed by senior management.QualificationsTen or more years of manufacturing management and distribution experience preferred.Four‑year engineering degree from an accredited institution; electrical or mechanical engineering preferred.Master’s in manufacturing, engineering management, or business administration strongly preferred but not required.Background with automated SMT assembly, solder reflow, in‑circuit testing, automated functional testing, and automated material handling preferred.Strong analytical, quantitative, and problem‑solving capability; sound prioritization and performance under pressure.Influential people leader who collaborates effectively across all levels to achieve company goals.Clear communicator able to present manufacturing strategy and train hourly teams in lean practices.Computer proficiency in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and MRP II.Values‑driven, ethical, receptive to constructive feedback, and demonstrates exceptional attendance (98% minimum).Equivalent combinations of education and experience will be considered.Core proficienciesBachelor’s DegreeEngineering DegreeLean Manufacturing PrinciplesExperience in a Manufacturing EnvironmentManufacturing ManagementOur commitmentWe relentlessly pursue excellence and continuous improvement to deliver outstanding value in products and services and to consistently delight our customers. #J-18808-Ljbffr
