Administrative Specialist to the Director of Student Support Services
Position Type: Support (1.0FTE)
Location: Zumbro Education District in Kasson,MN
Workday/Year: Monday-Friday 7:30-3:30pm
Duty Days: 215 contract days (includes school year and summer school in June)
Starting Date: August 2026

About Zumbro Education District (ZED): ZED is an education district serving six member districts: Triton,
Kasson-Mantorville, Stewartville, Byron, Hayfield, and Blooming Prairie. ZED offers a wide array of general
education and special education services to our member districts (please refer to www.zumbroed.org for
details).
Job Summary: This position provides on-site office management for three special education/alternative
learning programs (Futures/SUN, ALC, and T2S) and provides direct administrative assistance to the Director
of Student Support Services.
Qualifications:
-Possess a minimum of 3-5 years of experience in an office environment (preferably
within public schools) and high school diploma or GED
-Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office applications including Documents, Sheets,
Forms, Slides and Classroom
-Preferred experience in Student Information Systems, such as Infinite Campus and/or
ability to learn additional program software
-Ability to manage multiple tasks/prioritize work assignments and excellent organizational
skills
-Ability to work with a special needs/at-risk student population, teachers, administration,
parents and social service personnel.
-Maintain respectful relationships with students, parents, and staff
