Position Summary
The HRIS Manager at Forgen is responsible for leading the strategy, implementation, optimization, and ongoing management of our Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS). This role ensures the integrity, security, and effectiveness of HR data and systems while enabling data-driven decision-making across the organization.
The HRIS Manager partners closely with Finance, HR, IT, Payroll, and business leaders to streamline processes, improve employee experience, and support Forgen's growth through scalable HR technology solutions.
Key Responsibilities
  • Own the end-to-end lifecycle of Forgen's HRIS platforms, including configuration, maintenance, upgrades, and integrations
  • Evaluate, recommend, and implement new HR technology solutions aligned with business needs
  • Ensure systems are optimized to support recruiting, onboarding, payroll, benefits, performance, time-keeping, production and compliance processes
  • Maintain high standards of data accuracy through audits, validation, and governance practices
  • Ensure compliance with data privacy regulations, labor laws, and company policies
  • Manage system security, user roles, permissions, and access controls
  • Develop and deliver dashboards, reports, and insights to support workforce planning and HR decision-making
  • Analyze HR data (e.g., turnover, headcount, performance metrics) to identify trends and opportunities
  • Lead HRIS implementations, upgrades, and integrations with internal and third-party systems
  • Partner with IT and vendors to troubleshoot issues and improve system performance
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance HR processes and automation
  • Act as the primary liaison between HR, IT, Finance, and external vendors
  • Provide technical support and guidance to HR and business users
  • Translate business needs into system requirements and scalable solutions
  • Develop training programs, documentation, and user guides
  • Lead adoption efforts for new systems and features across the organization
  • Champion change management initiatives to ensure successful system utilization

Basic Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Information Systems, Business, or related field
  • 5-8+ years of progressive experience in HRIS, HR technology, or related roles
  • Proven experience managing HRIS platforms (e.g., ADP, Heavy Job, Workday, UKG, SAP, Oracle, or similar)
  • Experience leading system implementations, upgrades, and integrations
  • Strong understanding of HR processes (payroll, benefits, talent management)
  • Technical & Analytical Expertise: Ability to manage HR systems, analyze data, and generate actionable insights
  • Project Management: Experience leading cross-functional projects and system implementations
  • Data Governance: Strong attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy and security
  • Communication & Collaboration: Ability to translate technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders
  • Change Leadership: Skilled at driving adoption and continuous improvement across teams
  • Serve as a subject matter expert on HR technology and data strategy
  • Drive innovation in HR systems to support Forgen's growth and operational excellence
  • Enable data-driven HR decisions that improve employee experience and organizational performance

Physical Demands & Work Environment
This office-based role requires frequent computer use and effective communication, with occasional travel to project sites as needed. Site visits may involve extended periods of standing or walking and required PPE, with potential exposure to heavy equipment, chemicals, dust, fumes, uneven terrain, and extreme weather.
