Title: Human Resources Manager (Manufacturing)

Location: Rochester, MN (Onsite role)

Job Type: Permanen

Shift: 8 AM - 5 PM (Mon-Fri)


Job Summary:

We are hiring an experienced Human Resources Manager for an established manufacturing company in Rochester, MN. This is a fully onsite leadership role responsible for employee relations, full-cycle recruiting, HR compliance, and managing a small HR team.


This position partners closely with plant leadership to support employees, drive HR initiatives, maintain compliance with employment laws, and improve HR processes.


Responsibilities:

  • Lead employee relations, investigations, performance management, and disciplinary actions.
  • Manage full-cycle recruiting and onboarding.
  • Supervise and mentor HR team members.
  • Partner with managers on HR policies, compliance, and workplace issues.
  • Maintain HR records, policies, and documentation.
  • Support audits, unemployment claims, and employment-related legal matters.
  • Identify and implement HR process improvements.


Qualifications

  • 6+ years of Human Resources experience.
  • 2 yrs. of experience managing or supervising HR staff is required.
  • Strong employee relations and full-cycle recruiting experience.
  • Knowledge of U.S. employment laws and HR compliance.
  • Manufacturing or industrial HR experience is strongly preferred.
  • Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.


Education:

  • Bachelor's degree is required.
