Job Title: Director of Environmental Health and Safety (EHS)


Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly experienced Director of Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) to join our team. The Director of EHS will be responsible for developing and implementing safety policies and procedures to ensure compliance with all applicable regulations and standards. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in EHS management, excellent leadership skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with all levels of the organization.


Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement EHS policies and procedures to ensure compliance with all applicable regulations and standards
  • Conduct regular safety audits and inspections to identify potential hazards and recommend corrective actions
  • Develop and deliver EHS training programs to educate employees on safe work practices and procedures
  • Manage the EHS budget and ensure that all expenditures are within budgetary constraints
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure that EHS policies and procedures are integrated into all aspects of the organization
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation related to EHS activities
  • Stay up-to-date with changes in EHS regulations and standards and ensure that the organization is in compliance
  • Lead incident investigations and develop corrective actions to prevent future incidents
  • Manage a team of EHS professionals and provide guidance and support as needed
