Job description

The Director, Data Analytics and Reporting leads the data strategy, reporting capabilities, and analytics function to drive informed business decision-making. This role is responsible for developing enterprise-wide reporting frameworks, data governance standards, performance metrics, and analytical solutions that support strategic objectives. The Director partners closely with executive leadership and business stakeholders to transform data into actionable insights, improve operational effectiveness, and enable data-driven culture across the organization.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute data analytics and reporting strategy aligned with business goals.
  • Manage disparate ERP environment, using Databricks as the data warehouse, to report on key data, and tying out to OneStream.
  • Partner with IT to design systems and stabilize data feeds; work with business owners to ensure data is cleansed, consistent, usable.
  • Lead initiatives to enhance data quality, reporting automation, and self-service analytics capabilities.
  • Establish and monitor enterprise-wide key performance indicators (KPIs), scorecards, and reporting standards. Near-medium term reporting focus: Global orders, spend cube, inflation tracker, price realization, 80/20 quads by BU, POC project execution, production cycle times, 13 week cash flow forecasts, on-time-delivery.
  • Drive the adoption of advanced analytics, predictive modeling, and data visualization capabilities.
  • Support diligence, including sell-side QoE work on P/V/Fx bridges, price and inflation trends, selectivity.
  • Partner with IT on internal AI initiatives, including functional efficiency, reporting enhancements, process improvement, and cost productivity.
  • Support ad-hoc business and enterprise initiatives as needed.

Reporting

Reporting to the Chief Accounting Officer, the Director is responsible for managing 1-2 direct reports and a much larger group of indirect stakeholders across the business.

Education

  • Bachelor's degree inData Analytics, Business Analytics, Statistics, Computer Science or Finance
  • MBA or equivalent advanced qualification preferred

Experience

  • Strong finance background allowing the Director to ensure data ties to financial records, supports financial models, and can be used at various levels of the organization including due diligence without multiple levels of additional finance validation
  • 10 or more yearsof progressive experience inanalytics, business intelligence, reporting or data management
  • 5 or more years of leadership experience managing analytics and reporting teams
  • Advanced knowledge of business intelligence and visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau, Microsoft Fabric, etc)
  • Strong proficiency with data modeling and analytics methodologies
  • Experienced in leveraging AI for productivity and innovation
