Chemours is seeking a Director of Change Management to lead and mature our enterprise Change Management capability. This role is a critical leadership position responsible for building and scaling a centralized Change Management Center of Excellence (CoE) that enables Chemours' most important transformation priorities, including the Chemours Business System (CBS), Enterprise Enablement initiatives, and major business and technology transformations.

This position will be based at the Wilmington Office Building (Wilmington, DE) and will report to the Chief Communications Officer.

The Director of Change Management serves as the enterprise leader and "playercoach" for Change Management at Chemours. This role is accountable for defining the enterprise change strategy, establishing standards and governance, building practitioner capability, and ensuring change adoption and value realization across the company's most complex and impactful initiatives.

The Director will lead a centralized Change Management CoE, deploy resources to priority initiatives, partner closely with senior leaders, and equip leaders across the organization to own and lead change effectively. Success in this role requires strong strategic leadership, deep change management expertise, enterprise influence, and the ability to translate strategy into execution.

The responsibilities of the position include, but are not limited to, the following:

Enterprise Change Strategy & Governance

  • Define and lead Chemours' enterprise Change Management strategy aligned to corporate strategy, Chemours Business System, and transformation priorities.

  • Establish and maintain a consistent, enterprise Change Management methodology, standards, tools, and playbooks.

  • Design and operate a single enterprise change intake, triage, and prioritization process, including an enterprise change calendar and portfolio view.

  • Partner with the Change Board and senior leaders to govern change priorities, capacity, and resource deployment.

Change Management Center of Excellence (CoE)

  • Build, lead, and scale a centralized Change Management CoE with clear roles, expectations, and career paths for the approximately 5 direct reports.

  • Act as a playercoach, providing handson leadership for the most complex, transformational initiatives.

  • Ensure flexible deployment of change resources across technological, incremental, and transformational change based on enterprise priorities.

Business & Leadership Partnership

  • Serve as a trusted advisor to Chemours Executive Team members, business leaders, and functional leaders on change strategy, readiness, and adoption.

  • Engage early in major initiatives to shape change strategies, influence decisions, and mitigate adoption risk.

  • Equip and hold leaders accountable for leading change through clear expectations, tools, and coaching.

Capability Building & Culture

  • Assess and strengthen change management capabilities across practitioners and leaders.

  • Lead development and rollout of practitioner training, certifications, and leader change capability programs (including Chemours Business System integration where appropriate).

  • Build a strong, valueadding Change Management brand that is seen as strategic, integrated, and outcomesfocused.

Measurement & Value Realization

  • Define and track outcomebased KPIs to measure change effectiveness, adoption, and ROI.

  • Publicize wins, reinforce adoption, and recognize leaders and teams who model effective change leadership.

The following is required for this role:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Communications, Organizational Development, Human Resources, or a related field.

  • 10+ years of progressive experience in change management, transformation, organizational effectiveness, or related disciplines.

  • Demonstrated experience building or leading an enterprise Change Management function or Center of Excellence.

  • Deep expertise in change management methodologies, tools, and best practices applied at enterprise scale.

  • Proven ability to lead complex, multiyear transformations across matrixed, global organizations.

  • Strong executive presence with the ability to influence, challenge, and partner with senior leaders.

  • Experience leading and developing teams, including playercoach leadership.

The following is preferred for this role:

  • Experience supporting largescale operating model, business system, or digital/technology transformations.

  • Experience implementing enterprise portfolio management and change prioritization processes.

  • Familiarity with KPIdriven change measurement and value realization models.

  • Experience working in industrial, manufacturing, or sciencebased organizations.
