Requirements

OVERVIEW:

The Head of Change Management & Internal Communications will lead the development and implementation of change management initiatives and internal communication strategies that align with Rimkus' strategic goals. This role will partner closely with leadership and various departments to ensure smooth transitions, enhance employee engagement, and promote a culture of transparency and collaboration.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

  • Design, lead, and execute comprehensive change management programs across the organization.
  • Develop and deliver effective internal communication plans to keep employees informed and engaged.
  • Collaborate with senior leadership to assess the impact of change and tailor strategies accordingly.
  • Provide coaching and support to managers and employees on change management best practices.
  • Measure and report on the effectiveness of change initiatives and communication efforts.
  • Drive initiatives that promote organizational culture, employee engagement, and overall communication excellence.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, EDUCATION and CERTIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Communications, Organizational Development, Human Resources, or related field required.
  • Master's degree preferred.
  • Proven experience (7+ years) in change management, internal communications, or organizational development.
  • Experience leading change in a complex, multi-site, and matrixed organization.
  • Change Management certification (e.g., Prosci, ACMP) is strongly preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to design and implement effective communication strategies.

REQUIRED SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

  • Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence and collaborate at all levels.
  • Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize effectively.
  • Proficiency in communication platforms, content management systems, and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • High emotional intelligence and facilitation skills.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise sound judgment.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS, OVERTIME, AND TRAVEL:

  • Typical office environment with occasional travel (up to 15%).
  • May require extended hours to meet project deadlines.
