Offer Summary

Position: Director of Architecture 

Base Salary: TBD 

Bonus: TBD Per Project 

Retirement: 3% IRA match

PTO: Unlimited, with a focus on fulfilling responsibilities and taking time off accordingly  

Path to Partnership: Path tied to leadership, delivery, and firm contribution over a 2-3-year period

Goal: First, focus on how you can help the business move forward based on your passions, skill set, and experience. Once that is established and delivered, we will discuss financial returns, including profit sharing, equity, etc.

Start Date: ASAP 

Billable Expectation: 60% recoverability (approx. 24 hrs/week)


Strategic Vision

JammonStudios is transitioning from a solo-driven design practice to a high-impact architectural firm. With $750K in projected revenue over the next 8 months and active hiring underway, we are building the team around this leadership role and, more importantly, around the Director.

Director’s Role in the Vision:

  • Lead all architectural design and technical delivery
  • Oversee and grow the design team (3-4 Associates + 1-2 future hires in the upcoming year)
  • Lead and continue to develop quality and project standards
  • Collaborate with ownership on firm direction, hiring, and project mix
  • Be a strategic voice in business development and client leadership

Role Overview

You will lead the design and technical delivery of architectural work at JammonStudios — overseeing project execution, shaping firm-wide standards, and mentoring the team. This is a high-autonomy, high-impact leadership role reporting directly to the Principal.

 Key Responsibilities:

  • Design Leadership: Lead the design direction of the firm and champion architectural excellence
  • Team Management: Guide project teams, develop talent, and oversee workload planning
  • Technical Oversight: Ensure quality control, code compliance, and best practices in documentation
  • Standards & Tools: Establish architectural standards and implement project tracking systems
  • Client Interface: Represent the firm in client and consultant coordination where needed
