To learn more about Mission Technologies, click here for a short video: https://vimeo.com/732533072 Summary Mission Technologies, a Division of HII, is seeking a Bomber/Strike Operations SME who is familiar with the USAF Bomber and Strike combat capabilities as a member of the Modeling, Simulation, and Training team at the Joint Integrated Test and Training Center - Nellis (JITTC-N), Nellis, AFB, NV. The individual's primary responsibility is planning, building, executing and debriefing Bomber or Strike platforms into the Next Generation Threat System (NGTS) scenarios for theater wide tactical and operational level training missions in the Joint Simulation Environment. In addition, they will be responsible for coordinating with customer squadrons to deliver mission materials required to execute these missions, coordinating with additional simulator operators to direct virtual entities, and managing constructed entities in a realistic manner within the simulation environment. Additionally, the Bomber/Strike Operations SME will be responsible for loading and operating various Bomber or Strike platform systems while controlling other constructed entities. This person will work with a small team to develop virtual Large Force Exercises (LFEs) involving numerous simulator platforms and manage the incorporation of Bomber and Strike platforms into missions at the JITTC-N. Work Environment: Position is not eligible for remote work; on-site support is required. Must be capable of working morning and evening shifts to accommodate flexible schedule training operations. Key Responsibilities Operating simulation cockpits and/or consoles to represent synthetic Bomber and Strike aircraft capabilities and replication. Duties will include, but are not limited to: * Operate JIAB components and applications. * When required, act as Mission Director depending on scenario. * Operate the simulator console and debriefing system during and after missions. * Provide subject matter expertise regarding Bomber or Strike threat and friendly tactics, techniques, and procedures (TTP) during the planning and execution of JITTC-N operations. * Support the development, coordination, and integration of JITTC-N events to maximize training. * Provide White Force duties and functions as required for customer needs and training objectives. * Orchestrate scenarios and constructive inputs for training events. * Create and modify mission-planning materials/academics to ensure participants achieve maximum training. * Provide instructor level expertise to help shape tactical training for participants. * Report issues related to stimulation software applications and provide basic trouble shooting support. * May be required to provide managerial or administrative duties. What you must have * 10 years relevant experience with Bachelors in related field; 8 years relevant experience with Masters in related field; or High School Diploma or equivalent and 14 years relevant experience. * Current or previous Bomber or Strike aircraft crewmember. * Strong written and oral communication skills. * Ability to achieve and maintain a DoD Tops Secret/SCI security clearance. Preferred Qualifications * Current and active DoW Top Secret/SCI security clearance. * Bomber or Strike aircraft operations experience. * Experience with NGTS, GRID, and DIADS. * Experience with MSCT, ASCOT, Tac Chat, or other equivalent programs and applications. * Current or previous experience as a Bomber or Strike aircraft commander. * Weapons School graduate. * Experience in Joint Simulation Environment (JSE).
