Job description

Work Schedule
This is a full-time, exempt (salaried) position assigned to a First Shift schedule, with standard business hours of Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Business needs may occasionally require flexibility in work hours, including earlier, later, or additional hours, with reasonable notice provided when possible.
Applicants who live within 35 miles of either the Burlington, NC or Durham, NC location will follow a hybrid schedule. This schedule includes a minimum of three in-office days per week at an assigned location, either Burlington or Durham, supporting both collaboration and flexibility.
RESPONSIBILITIES
The Director will play a critical role in advancing the organization's data maturity, embedding best practices in governance, architecture, and activation.
This role is accountable for building and operationalizing a customer-centric data foundation that enables:

  • Five or more years of experience with customer data ecosystems, including CDPs, data warehouses, and activation platforms.
  • Five or more years of experience with digital analytics platforms (Adobe Analytics, Google Analytics).

PREFERRED QUALFICATIONS
  • Five or more years of experience with platforms such as Adobe Experience.
  • Five or more years of experience in cloud data environments (e.g., Snowflake, AWS, Azure) and their capabilities as they relate to customer, digital, and operational data and digital analytics.

Labcorp is seeking a strategic and forward-thinking leader to drive the evolution of customer data capabilities within the Marketing organization. This role sits at the intersection of MarTech, data, analytics, and customer experience, and is responsible for shaping how data is leveraged to power personalization, engagement, and measurable business outcomes.
The Director will define and lead a modern customer data strategy and will be responsible for the strategic development of digital marketing data ecosystems, accomplishing data-driven analysis and activation through solution architectures integrating measurement, modeling, and MarTech / AdTech to meet business objectives. This enables scalable activation across channels, strengthens marketing effectiveness, and accelerates the organization's adoption of AI-driven decisioning. This role will create and oversee comprehensive data programs to enable complex digital strategies. The role will be highly cross-functional and interface closely with Marketing, IT, Data Engineering, and Analytics, to establish a connected, future-ready data ecosystem.
