Drive commercial focus, market development, and revenue growth in the Bakery segment by shaping our go-to-market strategy, sharpening competitive positioning, enabling the field sales organization, and partnering with product business unit leaders to expand market share and accelerate adoption of our technology.
This position will travel more than 50% with the remainder of the time spent in the office to ensure proper preparation and follow-up. Domestic and international travel required.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  1. Own the go-to-market strategy for the Bakery segment by defining priorities, target applications, and growth plans aligned with commercial objectives

  1. Build evidence-based value propositions for each product family pertaining to Bakery, clearly connecting technical solutions to productivity, quality, labor savings, uptime, and total cost of ownership.

  1. Develop sales tools such as ROI models, objection-handling guides, case studies, and talk tracks that improve consistency and effectiveness in the field

  1. Lead win/loss analysis and translate findings into practical battlecards, comparison tools, and guidance for sales, marketing, and business units.

  1. Partner with sales leadership to strengthen pipeline quality, improve forecast accuracy, and increase conversion rates by identifying bottlenecks and driving corrective actions

  1. Create and maintain go-to-market playbooks, training programs, and enablement resources that help sales and technical teams execute with greater consistency and confidence

  1. Serve as the voice of the customer by capturing market feedback, unmet needs, trial results, and competitive insights and translating them into product requirements and business cases

  1. Drive cross-functional execution with sales, engineering, marketing, and business product leaders while establishing business review rhythms, tracking KPIs, and ensuring CRM discipline

  1. Coach and develop Application Specialists to improve their application knowledge, trial planning capabilities, customer workshop delivery, and ability to independently communicate value

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in sales, marketing, business, or related field and ten years industry related experience with progressive measured success.

  • Highly effective verbal and written communication skills to motivate, develop, and encourage department staff and communicate with Multivac customers.

  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret common scientific and technical journals, financial reports, and legal documents. Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers, regulatory agencies, or members of the business community. Must have strong presentation skills.

  • Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Word, Excel, and Power Point, and working knowledge of CRM applications required.

  • Current valid driver's license and the ability to obtain a passport for travel as required by position.
