The Spine AiBLE Sales Director will lead strategic program development and field execution for the AiBLE Strategic Sales organization across the Central and Western United States. This role will partner closely with sales leadership and cross-functional business partners to strengthen sales capabilities, advance learning and development initiatives, and ensure the organization has the tools, resources, content, and structure needed to drive business performance.

The ideal candidate is a collaborative, strategic leader with a demonstrated ability to build strong cross-functional relationships and translate business priorities into actionable programs that drive successful field execution.

This role may be based anywhere within the Western United States and requires the ability to travel up to 50% of the time to support business needs.

Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned:

  • Lead, develop, and execute the sales strategy for the AiBLE Sales Team across the Central and Western U.S.

  • Direct regional sales efforts to achieve or exceed established sales targets for Medtronic's Cranial & Spinal Technologies products and services.

  • Recruit, coach, develop, and retain a high-performing field sales team.

  • Build and strengthen long-term relationships with key stakeholders, including surgeons, hospital staff, and healthcare decision-makers.

  • Partner with sales leadership, field sales teams, and cross-functional partners to execute regional growth and market development strategies.

  • Identify and pursue business opportunities, assess customer needs, and deliver product and service solutions that maximize the value of Medtronic's Cranial & Spinal Technologies portfolio.

  • Promote awareness and understanding of the company's products and services through customer education and engagement.

  • Conduct and evaluate market research to identify customer needs, competitive activity, market trends, and emerging business opportunities.

  • Develop, implement, and adjust market development plans and strategies based on business and customer needs.

  • Gather customer feedback regarding new products and enhancements to existing products, and communicate insights to internal stakeholders, including R&D, Operations, and Marketing.

  • Collaborate with Marketing, Finance, Human Resources, Sales Training, and other cross-functional teams to address key business priorities and opportunities.

  • Travel extensively throughout the assigned geography to support customers, field sales teams, and broader business needs.

Qualifications Must Have: Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree and 10+ years of relevant sales leadership experience in medical device, Medtech, healthcare or life sciences; OR

  • Advanced degree and 8+ years of relevant sales and leadership experience in medical device, Medtech, healthcare or life sciences.

  • Valid driver's license and active vehicle insurance policy

Nice to Have: Preferences
  • Experience within healthcare, medical technology, or another highly matrixed organization

  • Experience in Spine, Biologics, and/or Enabling Technologies

  • Experience leading and supporting field-based teams across a broad geographic region

  • Demonstrated success leading change initiatives or building and implementing new programs

  • Broad knowledge of sales, business development, people leadership, and business management

  • Experience leading multiple teams or functional areas across a country, region, or business
