The Director, Systems Engineering, CCDI is responsible for leading system-level strategy, customer engagement, and application validation across Littelfuse's power switching and circuit protection portfolio. This role drives the transformation from a component-focused supplier to a customer-centric solutions partner by aligning product innovation with real-world system requirements.

This leader will collaborate closely with Sales, Product Management, and Engineering teams to develop differentiated solutions, influence product roadmaps, and strengthen Littelfuse's position in strategic growth markets.

About Your Job:

Define system-level strategiesby translating customer application requirements into scalable technical solutions and architectures

Engage with key customers and industry leadersto understand emerging trends and position Littelfuse as a technology partner of choice

Influence product roadmapsthrough close collaboration with Product Management, including development of business cases for new growth opportunities

Lead system-level validation efforts, including definition and execution of application testing to ensure performance, reliability, and compliance

Develop technical contentsuch as application notes, white papers, and reference designs to support customer adoption and establish thought leadership

Enable Sales and Field Application Engineers (FAEs)with actionable technical insights, tools, and training

Drive cross-functional alignmentacross Engineering, Marketing, and Sales in a global, matrixed organization

Lead through influence, leveraging technical expertise to guide teams and decision-making

Focus Areas:

Data Centers:High-efficiency power distribution and high-voltage DC (HVDC) systems

Aerospace & Defense:High-reliability electrical systems and electrification

About You:

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field; or equivalent industry experience

  • 10+ years of experience in electrical systems, power electronics, or semiconductor applications

  • Demonstrated expertise in system-level design, architecture, and application engineering

  • Strong understanding of global safety and regulatory standards (UL, IEC, ISO, AEC)

  • Proven ability to translate customer needs into technical and business solutions

  • Experience influencing cross-functional teams in a matrixed environment

  • Background in semiconductor, circuit protection, or power electronics industries preferred.

  • Up to 30% global travel required.
