Job description

Position Summary

We are seeking two experienced Technical Transfer Engineers to support an international pharmaceutical technology transfer project. The selected candidates will collaborate with cross-functional teams in Puerto Rico and China to execute technical transfer activities for solid dosage manufacturing and packaging operations. This role requires strong documentation skills, GMP knowledge, and the ability to work in an English-speaking technical environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support technology transfer activities for solid dosage manufacturing and packaging processes.
  • Develop, review, and execute technical transfer protocols.
  • Prepare and manage Change Controls and Risk Assessments.
  • Review and update Batch Records and manufacturing documentation.
  • Support paper-based validation activities and documentation packages.
  • Collaborate with Manufacturing, Quality, Validation, Engineering, and Technical Services teams.
  • Ensure compliance with cGMP, quality standards, and company procedures.
  • Participate in project meetings and provide technical support throughout the transfer process.
  • Travel to China for several weeks during key phases of the project.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Pharmacy, Chemistry, or a related scientific discipline.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in pharmaceutical manufacturing.
  • Hands-on experience with:
    • Technology Transfer
    • Change Controls
    • Risk Assessments
    • Batch Record review and development
    • Validation documentation (paper-based validation)
    • Solid dosage manufacturing and/or packaging operations
  • Strong understanding of cGMP requirements.
  • Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a multicultural, international environment.
  • Willingness and ability to travel internationally to China for extended periods.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience supporting global pharmaceutical technology transfer projects.
  • Familiarity with deviation investigations and CAPAs.
  • Previous experience in regulated pharmaceutical manufacturing environments.
